WHAT IS SCIENCE?
Science, simply put, is the systematic study of nature. It involves the study of the world, using collected knowledge, observation and experimentation.
One cannot underestimate the scope of science in today's world. Science is the
backbone of human existence. Even though the importance of science in our
daily lives isn’t that obvious, we make science based choices every day. We
interact with our environment, asking questions and seeking answers. This
question-and-answer process constantly feeds our curious minds.
So if your interest leans towards Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics,
Biotechnology, Technology, Medicine, etc., you should choose Science as your
first career option. After the first 10 years of schooling, Science is available as an option in 10+2 or the Higher Secondary Level. This paves the way for your higher
studies in science related fields.
A number of subjects can be studied under various disciplines of Science in
conjugation, like Engineering and Technology, Medicine and Paramedicine,
Pharmacy, Architecture and Pure Science.
