IIT Delhi has released the JEE Advanced admit card. Candidates who completed the registration process before the last date can download the admit card 2020 from jeeadv.ac.in by providing their JEE Advanced 2020 application form number, date of birth and mobile number.
Information regarding the examination such as the venue address, timings, date and more are made known through JEE Advanced admit card 2020.
Without JEE Advanced 2020 admit card, candidates will not be allowed to attempt the examination. Since it is an important document, the candidates are advised to keep the JEE Advanced 2020 admit card safely till the end of the IIT admission procedure.
In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, the candidates have to contact JEE Advanced authorities.
JEE Advanced 2020 will be held on September 27 at Indian exam centers only.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INDIAN NATIONALS FOR APPEARING IN JEE (ADVANCED) 2020
All the candidates must simultaneously fulfil each and every one of the following five criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.
Criterion 1 – Performance in JEE (Main) 2020: Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000* successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2020.
The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these five categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates.
The following table shows the order to be followed while choosing top 2,50,000* candidates in various categories based on the performance in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2020.

*The total number of candidates can be slightly greater than 2,50,000 in the presence of “tied” ranks/scores in any category.
Criterion 2 – Age limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995. Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1990.
Criterion 3 – Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Criterion 4 – Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination: A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2019 or 2020 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
However, if the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declares the results for the academic year 2017-18 after June 2018, then the candidates of that board who appeared for their Class XII exam in 2018 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020, provided they meet the other eligibility criteria. In case, the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2017-18 before June 2018 but the result of a particular candidate was withheld, then the candidate will not be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.
Criterion 5 – Earlier admission at IITs: A candidate should NOT have been admitted in an IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting at a reporting centre in the past. Candidates whose admission at IITs was cancelled after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.
Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2019 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.
The candidates who paid seat acceptance fee in 2019 but (i) did not report at any reporting centre OR, (ii) withdrew before the last round of seat allotment, OR, (iii) had their seat cancelled (for whatever reason) before the last round of seat allotment for IITs, during the joint seat allocation in 2019, are eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.
However, in all of the above cases, the candidate is also required to fulfil the conditions mentioned from Criterion 1 to Criterion 4.

The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Both the papers are compulsory. The examination will be held as per the following schedule:

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2020 (NEET (UG) - 2020) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.
The NEET (UG) - 2020 will be conducted on Sunday, the 13th September, 2020.

Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 provides for holding of a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like Institutions will be made through NEET. The eligibility criteria applicable to appear in NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to the candidates desirous to take admission to INIs like AIIMS.
Similarly, the criteria for minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for admission to MBBS course shall also be applicable to INIs. Further, the common counseling for admission to MBBS course in these INIs shall be conducted by the DGHS as per the Time Schedule specified in the MCI’s regulations.
The NEET (UG) - 2020 will be conducted on Sunday, the 13th September, 2020. The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and for providing an “All India Rank Merit List” to the Directorate General Health Service, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for providing the result to States/other Counselling Authorities.
Correction in the Particulars, Choice of Centre Cities, Photographs, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression in the Online Application Forms for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 Scheduled on13.09.2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
In continuation of NTA’s Public Notice dated 06.07.2020 regarding the facility for correction in the Candidate Particulars in the Online Application Form including Choice of Centre Cities, Photograph and Signature due to COVID-19 epidemic, it is brought to the notice of all the candidates of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG)-2020 that the facility for correction in the Particulars, Choice of Centre Cities, Photographs, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression in the Online Application Forms has been extended from 15/07/2020 till 20/07/2020*. The candidates are advised to visit the website (ntaneet.nic.in) and verify their particulars and make necessary corrections wherever required.
‘**’ Corrections in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted upto 05.00 PM and submission of fee (if applicable) upto 11.50 PM.
The NTA will make all-out effort to allot Centre City of examination to the candidates in order of the choices now being opted by them in their Application Form, subject to the availability of capacity in the desired city. However, due to administrative reasons, a different city may be allotted, and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of Centre City shall be final.
In case, any additional fee payment is required depending on the changes made in the form, the requisite (additional) fee, if applicable, can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM. The final changes/update in the online application form will be reflected only after the payment.
Some of the candidates have uploaded Photographs/ Signature/Left Hand Thumb Impression which are illegible or have uploaded Photographs with Mask; such candidates are advised to upload clear photographs/signature/Left Hand Thumb Impression of desired specification (as detailed in Annexure - A) to avoid cancellation of their candidature.
No change in the application form will be accepted through fax/application, including e-mail etc.
Those candidates who have sent emails earlier regarding any correction are also advised to verify and make necessary corrections, if required by them.

Specifications for Candidate’s Photographs, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression:
(In case of any eventuality of left thumb being unavailable, right hand thumb impression may be used.)
1. Upload scanned image of Candidate’s latest Passport size and Post Card size Photographs, Signature and Left Hand Thumb Impression in JPG/JPEG format.
2. Photograph should be with clear contrast,face and ears clearly visible.
Ø File size of scanned Passport size photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb and Post Card size photograph (4”X6”) (50 kb to 300 kb)
Ø The photograph should be coloured or black/white.
Ø Photograph should not be with cap or goggles.
Ø Photograph should not be with Mask.
Ø Spectacles are allowed only if being used regularly.
Ø Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
Ø The photographs need not be attested. Candidates are advised to keep 6 to 8 passport size and 6 to 8 postcard size colour photographs with white background to be used for counseling and admission purposes.
Ø Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
Ø Application without photographs shall be rejected.
Note: Candidates may note that if the photographs uploaded are found to be fabricated i.e. de- shaped or seem to be hand-made or computer made, the application of the candidate will be rejected and the same would be considered as using Unfair Means and the candidate would be dealt with accordingly.
In case someone else’s photographs have been uploaded, the candidature shall be cancelled and the case will be considered as using UFM. Criminal action as per laws of the country shall also be initiated.
3. File size of scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
4. File size of scanned Left Hand Thumb Impression should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
It has come to the notice of National Testing Agency (NTA) that a fake Public Notice dated 15.06.2020 with the subject line - Postponement of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG July – 2020 is being circulated through various sources and social media forums.
The NTA has taken it seriously and is investigating the source of such a fake notice with an intent to misguide candidates, parents and the general public. Stringent action would be taken against such anti-public elements.
All candidates, parents and public are hereby informed that no such decision has been taken by NTA or concerned authorities till date. Public is further being advised to be aware of any fake misguiding communication in this regard and rely only on the information available at the official website www.nta.ac.in and ntaneet.nic.in.

ADVISORY FOR CANDIDATES REGARDING COVID-19
NTA will implement Social Distancing measures as per Government of India guidelines in current scenario of COVID-19 to ensure health &safety of the candidates. Adequate measures are implemented for safety of all without compromising the high standards, sanctity, and fairness in conduct of the examination. Candidates are also required to adhere to guidelines and new process for Social Distancing and hygiene to ensure safety &health of their own and fellow candidates.
For safety purposes, NTA strongly advises candidates not to bring anything other than permitted items. However, in case of unavoidable situation, there will be arrangement to store the bags at centres at owner’s risk.
Preparation at centre
1. Standard Operating Procedures for implementing safety precautions and for maintaining required standard of hygiene are getting implemented.
2. Before each shift starts (and after last shift of the candidate) Seating Area will be thoroughly sanitized - monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and the chair. All door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc will be disinfected. Wheelchairs (if present at the venue) will be disinfected.
3. Gap between 2 seats will be maintained as per GOI guidelines.
4. Hand Sanitizer will be available at entry and inside the exam venue at various places for candidates and centre staff to use.
5. Barcode readers will be available at the entry point to scan barcode on the admit card. The Lab number will be informed to the candidate at this point.
6. Rough sheets will be kept at all desks before start of exam by invigilators wearing gloves to ensure hygiene.
7. It is ensured that all the processes are touch free to ensure Social Distancing norms.
8. Candidate to reach centre as per the Reporting/Entry time at Centre given in the Admit Card to avoid any crowding at the centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing.
Pre-Exam Preparation
1. Candidate to check Reporting/ Entry time at Centre given in the Admit Card and to reach centre as per Reporting time only to avoid any crowding at the centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing.
2. Candidate should fill Admit card as per instructions completely and properly.
3. In case of candidate with scribe, both the candidate and the scribe must bring their own mask. Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue:
•Exam related documents (Admit Card, ID card, etc. Please refer Admit Card for more details)
•A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
•Additional photograph, to be pasted on attendance sheet
•Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
•Personal transparent water bottle
At time of Entry
1. Candidates need to maintain a space of at least 6 feet from each other at all the time. Queue manager/ropes and Floor Marks will be arranged outside the centre, follow the instructions provided by centre staff.
2. Lab number will not be displayed outside the centre to avoid any crowding at any one place in any situation.
3. Candidates will be required to sanitize hands by washing with soap and with Hand Sanitizer before entry in centre. Hand sanitizer will be available at various locations in the centre.
4. Candidate should bring duly filled in Admit card as per instructions.
5. Candidate will be offered a fresh 3 Ply mask before entry. In order to stop chances of any UFM being used in the examination, the candidate is expected to wear the freshly provided mask at the centre. The candidate will be required to remove the mask worn by him/ her from home, and use the mask provided at centre only.
6. Candidate should bring Identity Proof and other documents ad advised.
7. Do not bring prohibited items to exam centre as there are no arrangements available for safe keeping your belongings.
8. At time of entry, the filled in Undertaking on Admit Card, and body temperature (using Thermo Guns) will be checked and centre staff will guide you to respective labs after scanning bar code at Admit Card. Candidates are required to strictly adhere to instructions provided by centre staff.
9. Please observe that no-one will be denied permission to appear for examination, until he/ she violates the covid-19 directives/advisories of Government (Central/State) applicable on the day of exam and instructions mentioned in the Admit Card.
During Examination
1. Five A4 size sheets will be kept at each candidate’s desk for use by candidate for Rough work. If Additional sheets are required for rough work by the candidate, the same shall be made available on demand.
2. Before each shift starts (and after last shift of the candidate) Seating Area will be thoroughly sanitized - monitor keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and the chair. Candidates can further sanitize the same with sanitizers that will be made available in the examination lab/room/hall.
3. Candidates are required to paste passport size photograph and sign on the Attendance sheet after sanitizing hands with sanitizer
After Examination
1. On completion of a shift, the candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly manner one candidate at a time. Please wait for instructions from invigilator and do not get up from your seat until advised.
2. Candidate must drop the Admit Card and Rough Sheets in the advised boxes after displaying to the staff available next to drop box. If any candidate misses to drop Admit Card or Rough Sheets in boxes, action (which also includes disqualification from the exam) can be taken against him.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
1. As a precaution for COVID-19, the candidate must reach centre as indicated against Reporting/Entry time at centre.
2. No candidate shall be permitted to enter after the Gate Closing Time.
3. No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of the examination.
4. On completion of the examination, please wait for instructions from Invigilator and do not get up from your seat until advised. The candidates will be permitted to move out one at a time only.
5. All candidates are required to download and carefully read the Instructions and Advisory for COVID-19 given with the Admit Card and strictly adhere to them.
6. This Admit Card and related details are in four pages - Page 1 contains the Centre details and Self Declaration (Undertaking) form regarding COVID-19, page 2 has “Important instruction for candidates” and page 3 and 4 have “Advisory for candidates regarding COVID-19”. The candidate has to download all the four pages.
7. The Admit Card is provisional, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions as given in the Information Bulletin.
8. Candidates are suggested to visit the examination venue, a day in advance to see the arrangements at the centre, so that they do not face any problem on the day of examination.
9. If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit centre early for thorough checking.
10. No Candidate would be allowed to enter the Examination Centre, without Admit Card, Valid ID Proof and proper frisking. Frisking through Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD) will be carried out without touching body.
11. Candidates are advised to carry only the following items with them into the examination venue:
a. Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
b. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
c. Additional photograph, to be pasted on attendance sheet
d. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
e. Personal transparent water bottle
12. Before reaching the Centre, the candidates must enter required details in the Undertaking in legible handwriting, put their signature and paste the Photograph at the appropriate place. They should ensure that their Left-Hand Thumb Impression is clear and not smudged.
13. Candidate must carry “Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the government” – PAN card/Driving License/Voter ID/12th Class Board Admit or Registration card/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card./ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo. All other ID/Photocopies of IDs even if attested/scanned photo of IDs in mobile phone will NOT be considered as valid ID Proof.
14. The candidate must bring PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming relaxation under PwD category. The scribe must also carry his/ her own Self Declaration(Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, etc., passport size photograph, valid government identity and self-declaration (Undertaking) regarding COVID-19 (as per format given on Page-1). The candidate must also bring her/his Own Scribe.
15. For Drawing Test – Part III of B.Arch., the candidate must bring their own Geometry Box Set, Pencils, Erasers and Colour pencils or Crayons. The Candidates are NOT allowed to use water colour on Drawing Sheet.
16. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any personal belongings including electronic devices, mobile phone and other banned/ prohibited items listed in the Information Bulletin to the Examination Centre. Examination Officials will not be responsible for safe keep of personal belongings and there will be no such facility.
17. Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted.
18. 5 Blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination Hall/Room. Candidates must write their name and Roll Number at the top of the sheet and must drop in the designated drop box without fail, before leaving the examination Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in non-evaluation of your answers.
19. Duly filled Admit Card at the end of examination must be dropped in the designated drop box. Failure to do so may result in non-evaluation of your answers.
20. No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices as the examination centers are under surveillance of CCTV and equipped with Jammers.
21. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has submitted multiple Applications and/or appeared in more than one date/shift, then the candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be taken including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA.
22. Candidates are advised to check updates on NTAs website regularly. They should also check their mailbox on the registered E-mail address and SMS in their registered Mobile No. for latest updates and information.

Candidates are also required to adhere to guidelines and new process for Social Distancing and hygiene to ensure safety &health of their own and fellow candidates.
For safety purposes, NTA strongly advises candidates not to bring anything other than permitted items. However, in case of unavoidable situation, there will be arrangement to store the bags at centres at owner’s risk.
Preparation at centre
1. Standard Operating Procedures for implementing safety precautions and for maintaining required standard of hygiene are getting implemented.
2. Before each shift starts (and after last shift of the candidate) Seating Area will be thoroughly sanitized - monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and the chair. All door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc will be disinfected. Wheelchairs (if present at the venue) will be disinfected.
3. Gap between 2 seats will be maintained as per GOI guidelines.
4. Hand Sanitizer will be available at entry and inside the exam venue at various places for candidates and centre staff to use.
5. Barcode readers will be available at the entry point to scan barcode on the admit card. The Lab number will be informed to the candidate at this point.
6. Rough sheets will be kept at all desks before start of exam by invigilators wearing gloves to ensure hygiene.
7. It is ensured that all the processes are touch free to ensure Social Distancing norms.
8. Candidate to reach centre as per the Reporting/Entry time at Centre given in the Admit Card to avoid any crowding at the centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing.
Pre-Exam Preparation
1. Candidate to check Reporting/ Entry time at Centre given in the Admit Card and to reach centre as per Reporting time only to avoid any crowding at the centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing.
2. Candidate should fill Admit card as per instructions completely and properly.
3. In case of candidate with scribe, both the candidate and the scribe must bring their own mask. Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue:
• Exam related documents (Admit Card, ID card, etc. Please refer Admit Card for more details)
• A simple transparent Ball Point Pen
• Additional photograph, to be pasted on attendance sheet
• Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
• Personal transparent water bottle
At time of Entry
1. Candidates need to maintain a space of at least 6 feet from each other at all the time. Queue manager / ropes and Floor Marks will be arranged outside the centre, follow the instructions provided by centre staff.
2. Lab number will not be displayed outside the centre to avoid any crowding at any one place in any situation.
3. Candidates will be required to sanitize hands by washing with soap and with Hand Sanitizer before entry in centre. Hand sanitizer will be available at various locations in the centre.
4. Candidate should bring duly filled in Admit card as per instructions.
5. Candidate will be offered a fresh 3 Ply mask before entry. In order to stop chances of any UFM being used in the examination, the candidate is expected to wear the freshly provided mask at the centre. The candidate will be required to remove the mask worn by him/ her from home, and use the mask provided at centre only.
6. Candidate should bring Identity Proof and other documents as advised under Point-11 &13 of IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES given on Page-2.
7. Do not bring prohibited items to exam centre as there are no arrangements available for safe keeping your belongings. Please refer Point-11 of IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES given on Page-2 for permitted items.
8. At time of entry, the filled in Undertaking on Admit Card, and body temperature (using Thermo Guns) will be checked and centre staff will guide you to respective labs after scanning bar code at Admit Card. Candidates are required to strictly adhere to instructions provided by centre staff.
9. Please observe that no-one will be denied permission to appear for examination, until he/ she violates the covid-19 directives/advisories of Government (Central/State) applicable on the day of exam and instructions mentioned in the Admit Card.
ADVISORY FOR CANDIDATES REGARDING COVID-19
During Examination
1. Five A4 size sheets will be kept at each candidate’s desk for use by candidate for Rough work. If Additional sheets are required for rough work by the candidate, the same shall be made available on demand.
2. Before each shift starts (and after last shift of the candidate) Seating Area will be thoroughly sanitized - monitor keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and the chair. Candidates can further sanitize the same with sanitizers that will be made available in the examination lab/room/hall.
3. Candidates are required to paste passport size photograph and sign on the Attendance sheet after sanitizing hands with sanitizer
After Examination
1. On completion of a shift, the candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly manner one candidate at a time. Please wait for instructions from invigilator and do not get up from your seat until advised.
2. Candidate must drop the Admit Card and Rough Sheets in the advised boxes after displaying to the staff available next to drop box. If any candidate misses to drop Admit Card or Rough Sheets in boxes, action (which also includes disqualification from the exam) can be taken against him.
