The International Olympiad programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and junior science are a five stage process for each subject separately. The first stage of International Olympiads for each subject is organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) and is called National Standard Examinations in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Junior Sciences.
All the remaining stages are organized by Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE).
The students selected in first stage (National Standard Examination) will now appear in 2nd stage i.e. INPhO, INChO, INBO, INAO and INJSO on January 28th and 29th 2017 depending on the subjects.

Our students have qualified for the next round of the NSE examinations. A total of 32 of our students have been selected - 8 students in Physics, 12 in Chemistry, 2 in Biology and 10 in Astronomy. The National Standard Examinations is the first stage of selection in the journey to International Olympiads.
Lakshya is proud to announce its (2016-17) KVPY (Kishore Viagyanik Protsahan Yojana) Stage 1 results from Mumbai & Punjab. A total of 48 students have got selected in this National program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi will admit 100 students from the country for its undergraduate programme from next academic session. The medical college currently admits 77 students - 72 Indian nationals and five foreign nationals. The number of foreign nationals will also be increased to 7. The number of seats meant for Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, OBC and physically handicapped reserved categories will remain the same.
Robochamps Terminal Exams will be held from September 27 to 30, 2016. The Terminal Exams are Mock Tests for students to improve their performance when they give their actual tests in schools, colleges and boards. The Exams are for Students of Class 8, 9 & 10 SSC Mah State Board; 11 & 12 Science HSC Mah State Board; 11 & 12 Commerce, HSC Mah State Board and 9 & 10 ICSE Board.

Lakshya Chandigarh Medical Wing student Arushi Jaspal Ram bags AIR- 5 in NEET 2016 & AIR-10 in AIIMS 2016 New Delhi.
Arushi scored an Agg of 95.6% in her XIIth boards, medical. Arushi is also an NTSE & KVPY scholar with all India rank 8, Biology Olympiad stage 1 clearer, and has also cleared stage 2 of chemistry Olympiad and was selected for chemistry camp OCSE at Homi Bhabha Institute.
